Laura Robichaud, DBA, MBA, Regional SALT Director
Laura has more than 8 years of financial and tax experience with extensive knowledge of Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT) and Use tax, as well as a variety of other state and local tax issues. She is a taxability expert in a variety of industries, and is proficient in Voluntary Disclosure Agreement (VDAs) programs, Public Law 86-272 Nexus determinations, and amnesty issues. Laura also has experience in in audit support services, as well as state and local litigation issues, appeals, informal petitions, and penalty abatement.
David Casper, CPA, Manager
David has more than 18 years of experience with agricultural equipment dealerships and has provided sales tax support to over 100 retail locations in 11 states. He provides tax advice to clients and has experience facilitating the completion of sales tax returns in excess of $3 million. David is also experienced in creating and delivering workshops related to State and Local Tax (SALT) issues and has lead internal audit proceedings from start to finish, including protest letters and final payment.
Kim Hitchcock, Eide Bailly ERP Consultant
Kim has more than 8 years of experience working with NetSuite and other ERP software. In her current role, Kim helps clients reach their strategic business goals by assisting them with the evaluation and selection of technology solutions designed to streamline business processes and support growth. She is a certified NetSuite ERP consultant and has a strong understanding of clients business needs in a variety of industries.
Brigitte Merten, Avalara Consultant
Brigitte brings over 15 years of experience in channel partner management, marketing and events, working at larger corporations, as well as start-ups, including Epicor, Ingram Micro and KeyedIn Solutions. She is now a Strategic Alliance Manager at Avalara, specializing in helping accounting firms grow their practices. She strives to create strong partnerships in business to make everyone more successful and profitable while having fun along the way.
